I have never seen true, and with this view, i must make the journey across. it looks like a great place to kite.

Yeah, it's not bad.  Best in a southerly or south easterly when it's coming across the bay, but you can ride in nearly any wind.  It's Norm's local spot so I often ask him about grass conditions etc before I head over.  Has a nice steep slope for RC planes & gliders too.
