festa Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 there's been several threads on ere about these and the general opinion seems to be that they are only for large blade 111s but what do i know???? Quote

bonefish Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 http://community.flexifoil.com/showthread.php?t=111555&highlight=tripple Triple 'A' Adjuster Kit (Adjustable Angle of Attack)This part comes pre-fitted as standard on the Blade IV Range. This part can be fitted onto any kite that has split secondary bridles. (i.e. All Rages, Blade III 6.6,8.5 and 10.5.)The kit comprises of all you need to fit and the adjuster on to your kite, (including the bridles and the extenders for your Brake Leader lines) as well as comprehensive instructions on how to fit it.Once you have fitted the adjuster, you can change the angle of attack of the kite. i.e. Slow, grunty big lift kite - through to a fast, low lift kite.It takes only a few minutes to fit and can be easily removed. and flexi are out of stock ! abba Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 These are completly pointless, don't waste your money, and time fitting them Brought one for my BladeIII 8.5 and it had very little effect if any Used it for about a month just to give it a chance in all wind conditions Its now in the bottom of the bag in its packet! I don't agree that they are pointless. I fitted one on my 8.5 Blade III and occasionally change the attack angle to meet the varied terrain & wind conditions I fly in. It won't turn a Blade III into a Blade IV but does enhance the performance under certain conditions. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to fit them once the kite is laid out. Quote
bonefish Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 i had a 6.6 blade111 and it did not like to fly without it although i altered the knots to adjust the bridle length Quote
GIBBYDMG Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 It will fit on any fixed bridle kite Bullets included don't agree with you Abba that it is a waste I have retro fitted my Bullets and Rage with this bit of kit and it does work on these if I remember correctly there was an issue with Blade III bridles and maybe that is why you had problems with it. Gibby!!! Quote
c quad madness Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 It CERTAINLY Will not fit ANY fixed bridle kite!!!!! Quote

Gibby!!! Only the 6.6 had bridle issues... It CERTAINLY Will not fit ANY fixed bridle kite!!!!! the kite has to have a,b and c bridles... only larger kites have this not sure about blurrs or rages... fairly certain only 5.5 and 7m bullets have this might be wrong but they defo have very little effect, think what you like... its just the manufacturer drumming/dictating it to you Quote

The kite will work on any fixed bridle kite that has 3 main bridle sets Top, middle & Bottom Excluding brake lines that come to the main knot. Quote

GIBBYDMG Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 It CERTAINLY Will not fit ANY fixed bridle kite!!!!! I should have said any flexi fixed bridle and any other manufacturer that has A>B>C, main bridles does that fix it for you C-Quad, sorry to have misled anyone. Gibby!!! Quote
neilj37 Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Fitted the this bridle mod to my Gin Yoz 6.2 and it helped to extend the wind range on it. Didn't effect the kites stability or flying at all. Quote
