gravyboat Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 unless you are a total beginer (never seen a kite before) do not buy drill1. my kite skill were good and i was at the stage of learning with the board so bought drill1. the dvd went on and we went through a few chapters about kites, conditions, how to unpack, setup, fly, land, pack away then 1 small crappy section on how to board. gutted, the boarding chapter told me stuff i sort of allready knew too. guide to kite landboarding should show you how to do that, if i wanted to know how to fly a kite i'd of bought a dvd called "how to fly a kite" i'm at the stage of i can jump reasonably well now i'm starting to look at rotations. a good landboarding dvd would have lasted me till now showing me the basic tricks. not watched once and never viewed again dont buy it, rant over, that feels better Quote

kiteboarding Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 lol, on the drill 1 website it says its for beginner kiteboarders, what do you expect? it never says it teaches you tricks, not even in the trailer. infact it shows you in the trailer whats in the movie, and there is a chapters list on the website on the advert. all the tricks are in drill 2...
