Air time on buggies - How is it done??????

A tip I learnt the hard way about jumping, is definetely let your tires down to soften landings, apart from saving your back it will also save your axle, I usually buggy on about 24 psi on my midis, last time I went jumping they were pumped up to that and I bent my axle, I think I will give 15 psi ago next time.

I have always used 12 psi. but then its a combo of how soft and body weight. I only weigh about 65 kg so 12 psi allows the tyres to absorb impact without leading to the buggy rim hitting the ground when landing hard. So for people heavier you may have to go up. its all a matter of trial and error.

i'm might b a bit fatter than you, but i find 20 psi is about perfect, hard enough to to "rim" it to often, but soft enough to give aswell as allowing a smooth consistant ride. Unfortunatly axles bending is something ur need to learn to live with thou, There are options to reinforce them which increases there life span drastically. Just remember thou that the bend in ur axle has saved an ammount of injurie to ur spine, on a heavy landing the force needs to go somewhere
