I love mine but if i was being honest the newer kites have better safety and bigger wind ranges. We wont mention the turning circle. LOL What size are you looking at and how heavy are you? Quote

This was my first depower and i must admit i love it! bit slow at times but really does the trick if you love power and lift! Quote

sw67 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 The Psycho 2 was great kite esp the 13m but its 4 years old now and i sold mine over a year ago for £200 ish so wouldnt pay more than £180 You could get a pulse 10m for just under £300 and that would be a better bet at 60kg Quote

I used to fly the 2 along side each other for over a year Pulse I More depower 4/5 lines instead of 3 Less bar pressure More Stable Quicker Pyscho II I belive is more floaty (Pulse can drop you like a rock sometimes) More powerfull Not as forgiving Less tangly Found it was better on the ground. Flagged out better and had sharper brakes Quote

Was going to go for a p2 but decided on a Speed 10m Its fairly mental - only flown it once. Looking forward to gettin it set up right over the next few weeks and getting a few hours in on it. S Quote

A guy paid £380 for it ! Guessing these low winds are making everyone go crazy they just want a big kite so they can get out and fly. Quote

Yea, I know there slow , but I heard it jumps pretty well (a mate use to haveone). the 13m what is the windrange like I was wanting a summer wind kite that will fit with my ion12.5 mostly for landboarding but would prop use it in the water aswell. What sort of flysurfer could i get for like £250ish Quote

Sammy1599968740 Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Mine's an 06 But they were in the 05-07 range i believe - Replaced by the Speed2 midway through 07 I couldnt compare as its my first flysurfer and the bar hasnt been set up right on it and i'm having some tuning problems - soon to be sorted this weekend tho. cant wait!. You're best off asking over on foilzone or PM Marman or Malcolm on here as they seem to be big FS fliers. What i did find though was that it goes upwind stupidly well, its very powerful for its size. I was very well powered on my 10m in 20mph - could probably take it to 25. And fairly quick. i should imagine a 13m Speed will be so much faster than a P2 17m. Also, there's the special 1.5 mod which adds more depower so u can get an extra 5mph out of it. I'll be doing this to mine over the summer. Like i said - best ask over on foilzone and read the reviews on Racekites.com Sam Quote
