GK Sonics are worth a look fella. Easy to launch, great safety features easy to relaunch from the water if you wipe out. Let go of the bar the kite falls to the edge of the window sits on its tip waiting for re-launch. Or the GK Trix. The Bandit is a nice piece of kit , there self righting !!!

Hi Steve, I know it's a funny question, but aren't the Buls supposed to do all that!?

I've not actually flown the bullaroo, I have a customer who does. The reason he bought it was that the bull as opposed to the waroo was more grunty, slightly faster in the air and all together a bit more agressive.

This years waroo has caught up with all that and the same chap is considering the new Yarga, it's supposed to be out and out comp kite but not been flown enough for propper reviews, we'll have one in soon. Alot of people who consider themselves above intermediate love to Best Bash, I've seen some amazing riding by pros on them so I don't see the problem.

The new bullaroo is due out soon too.

Ok that's your best brand loyalty dealt with, the quality across the board is excellent these days. Any one riding a certain brand will tell you how good theirs is. I've flown Nobile, Flexi, Best, North current models and none have dissapointed. My preference is the Vegas 2008 out of that lot though a short sesh on an Ion 2 left me very impressed by a 4 line kite.

You'll really need to see your local shop and get a demo of at least 3 different kites, spend a good ammount of time on them and make your own mind up. Flying back to back helps alot too in comparisons. At the end of the day it's what you like and not others, the only way to find out is to have a go, otherwise you'll spend dollar and maybe not quite get what you want. Read what the manufacturer states as it's where they've targeted the specific model. Best advice from riders is the kite's weaknesses/problems.

The GK Soinc are the most under rated kites on the market . But are the best kites . if it all goes wrong just let go of the bar 100% depower in the blink of an eye like one of the other theards said . I bought mine off a mate and he went on to the ion 2s but he still gets on the sonic to do hes big jumps

ok what would you go for nobil555 08 kite or the vegas 08

Steve unless you like light bar pressure, get a vegas. the 555 is a bridled kite same old same old and will be nothing like as nice as the vegas.

The vegas is the ultimate in high depower c kites. Wheather its waveriding freeriding or freestyle you are into the vegas wil give you more confidence, has better feedback on the bar, and jumps huuuge.

you wont regret it:)
