Ones choice can change depending on mood, fads, circumstances, etc

There are various songs that I really love today, yesterday and maybe tomorrow. But it never ceases to amaze me how much I really love Smooth Criminal - it'll come on my ipod and I'll listen to it 10 times in a row.

Very hard to pick just one, but the one that still does it for me and has done for over 25 years (and even then it was over 10 years old), since I first bought 'Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars' on cassette for £2.99 from Woolies with my christmas money is:

'Rock and Roll Suicide' by David Bowie.

Big big ending to one of the most perfect albums ever made.

I hope you use closed headphones, so no one else has to hear it, bud.:D

Agree with the album and artist, but I think Letter to Hermione is his best song.

I have been listening to the Rolling Stone Magazines Top 500 songs of all time, here's the top 10:

1. Like a Rolling Stone, Bob Dylan

2. Satisfaction, The Rolling Stones

3. Imagine, John Lennon

4. What's Going On, Marvin Gaye

5. Respect, Aretha Franklin

6. Good Vibrations, The Beach Boys

7. Johnny B. Goode, Chuck Berry

8. Hey Jude, The Beatles

9. Smells Like Teen Spirit, Nirvana

10. What'd I Say, Ray Charles

Not sure I agree with some of the choices, but the top 10 is pretty strong.

Gargh! I had enough trouble choosing 18 for the musical circle thing, let alone 1!

But it does tend to change about a fair amount depending on mood I'm in at the time - if I did another of the musical circle CD's again now, it would be completly different.

So, at the moment it's Stange Glue by Catatonia. Then Mass Destruction by Faithless (thanks Windy :)) and Beer by Reel Big Fish. :D
