rosco585 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Hello Everyone, As the title says I need a decent bag to carry my landboard in (on a plane), and possibly a couple of kites(ARCS)? Is there anything like that out there.. I can only find small bags that don't look great tbh. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks... Quote
kraftyone Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 scrub do a landboard bag... i had one that would fit board pads, helmet and kites in. But it wasn't very robust. Not sure i'd trust it on an flight. If i were going abraod I'd be tempted to take my board apart and try and fit it in large suitcase, or maybe a snowboard bag? Quote

Yeah, I took it all to bits last time and it was a right pain in the a$$. There is really good kitesurfing bags out there, I'm sure there must be a good Landboard version somewhere? Cheers for the suggestion though.. Quote
Angoose Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 take the wheels off at least and then used the dakine air wagon, fits int real easy along with kites, clothes, pads, harness', helmet, wardrobe, kitchen sink......the lot basically Quote
skymonkey Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 iv got the mbs board bag, loads of padding to protect your kite, and as for space, its got plenty... i took my board and my frenzy (and the other essentials harness helmet ect) out to south africa with me and got half my clothes in too. Really nice zip top opening, makes it really easy to get stuff in/out Quote

tom1599968574 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 dirtsurfer one. http://www.skymonster.com/dirtsurfer/Dirtsurfer-Accessories---Board-Bag/product.aspx Its long enough to get a ds frame in (this website says 154cm, ill believe it!) and you get a separate removable bag that goes inside to fit your ds wheels. You can get a four wheel board, a load of kites and all your gear in it and they are proper good quality bags. ive got a couple in my loft, 20 quid if you want it, think one is still in its wrapper. Hi kitebuggybagman, I'm going end of April. What do you suggest? Thanks That looks like a cracking price for that bag, i wont be able to match that. Now we have developed the seats we intend offering a Mountain Boarders bag similar to the one on the Buggybags web site, back mounted for your kit with a separate compartment for the board all inclosed etc... to keep the sand in etc.... We have been trying to develop it for over a year but things keep getting in the way .... Sorry Wenglish and KiteBoyStu, when we finish it you will be first to know. I know we wont have anything to offer by the end of April. Here is a pic of the std Back Mounted Kit Bag. http://www.buggybags.co.uk/pages/kit_bag/images/rucksack%20bag.JPG You can just see the divider for the kites to be stored vertically, with your kit on top.
