material hire while travelling

Hi folks

I was wondering about the probability and possibilities to i.e. hire kite equipment (say a depowerkite, atb and helmet) from time to time for a day or so.

Starting my researches, I repeatedly landed on the Extreme Kites pages, with plenty information about the whole kite sport. And to find out that it seems, the main activity "centre" for all kind of kiting is... the east coast.

I gonna start my trip in ... Perth, travelling up north. Therefore my questions to you guys out there: where are the places I gotta go to find someone kitelandboarding? Where is it possible to hire kite material to do a occasional run along a beach? (just imagin doin' a stretch of the 80 Mile Beach in a Buggy... must be amazing, isn't it?)

i think you would have much better luck doin this on the east coast, as far as equipment goes.
