Col, keep the review going bud - its soo good to get reviews from people who are genuine and not at the beck and call of the manufacturers.

 

I may get myself a ripper if these reviews keep coming - i sold my waroo 14m in pink - so its no more pink kites for me.

only enough wind for the 12mtr today, 14mph for 2 hrs then picked up to 18 mph, it was great fun, but i have the 10 mtr rippehr in the boot to try, wind looks good tomorrow,

 

for prices and details give tom a ring at kiteitright, kingralst on this forum, he was good enough to drive to my place with 3 kites for me to try out, i did not have to pester him for a trial, he simply offered, great guy, no promise of a sale at any time, just a honest trial,

well all i can add to this thread thats related is that i took toms rippehr out of the sky today with my kite and they certainly crash aswell as any ive seen:rolleyes:

 

they do seem to boost well so if jumping is your thing this could be the kite for you

i was feeling lazy today and one of my kite loops felt strange at the half way round stage,so i bottled out,

 

whisky has good pain killing properties, good job as it hurts when you bottle out half way through a single little loop,

i got the biggest jumps everr everr this evening on my 12m in 25-30mph.

 

im thikning posibbly 45 feet and the time was in the air, i had time to pick my nose.

landed like a butterfly. dan will vouch for them he just pointed at his head when i landed and shouted MENTAL

and i was going much bigger on wednesday. ahhh i need a 9m!

 

i was fully depowered on the 12 today. i think if i had a 9 i could have gone bigger as i would have been fully powered up plus a bit more speed on the backturn

Quite a few spanish guys were flying these in Portugal.

 

I landed and launched a few. I have never seen so much stitching on 1 kite before- all those panels, make the kite feel quite heavy for its size. Whats the point of that?

 

Slightly different shape, but flat like the Instinct.

 

Jury still out on this one for me, was not stunned by the look of 'em at all. Graphics are wac, and i'd never buy one cos of that. They say 'look out kiteschool kite' -anything could happen- to me. Come to think, I did'nt see anyone busting any moves on them,either. Can't see them becoming too popular in UK.

Please dont be so sceptical about something you have never tried.

never judge a book by its cover weather you like it or not..

 

you sit there on the fence laughing at an innovative design that is clearly advanced over rivals.

 

Mark shinn stated " without a doubt the best unhooked bridled kite i have flown"

 

And it has just become the first brldied kite to win the pkra world cup.

The kite is designed to be light hence no one pump, no frills. i harldy think a lttle bit of extra stiching is going to affect this. otherwise it would not have been included into the design,

 

So please unless you have anything constructive to say with evidence to backup your currently empty conclutions please go away otherwise no one wil ever take you seriously

sidmaniac, 1st thing 1st u live in cumbria HA! second thing is u cant say a kite is **** if u aint tryed it and if u havent sin any1 bustin anythin on them look at areil he was doin triple dangles n sum crazy **** i cant even name, u cant b ****gin of a kite n it ses warning local no look out kiteschool kite, the graphics are ill and once agen brings me back to the fact that u live in cumbria GOTTA B GUTTED but rly u shud try one theyre the best bows ive ever bin on
