midlandsdaz Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 going along the kite is verticle with the sand/land then before i attempt to tune i pull the right handle and raise the kite up higher and turn the buggy to the left to slow down, then turn right and go the opposite direction ive just come from. and go on like this? Thats about it but as you get more confident, you may want to steer away from the kite prior to re-directing it allowing you to slow down. Timing gets more and more critical the faster you are going and the more power you can hold. Doing what you are currently doing and rattling along like stink could result in you getting plucked from your seat. Kite will be pulling you one way and the buggy is pointing another. Quote
wenglish Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 question from me too, im learning slowly so bear with me if the wording dosent make sense. to turn and quickly : scrub off a little speed and then trun the buggy towards the kite once im pointing alittle down wind i down turn the kite and shoot off in the oposite direction with a lot of sadeways pull / slide as the kite passes me and goes to the side of the window. it this right or have i got it all wrong somewhere?
