Nomix Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Okay guys I'm looking for a bit of advice, I'm looking to buy a new hardhat. I have one at the moment but I'm looking for one which I can use kite boarding as well as cycle riding, never used one pushbike riding before but common sense says it's about time I did. I'd been looking at the Ace Freestyle Signature helmets http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?Cat=cycle&ProdID=5360028966&N=PRO-TEC%20Ace%20Helmet Any comments or suggestions would be helpful. Cheers Andy Quote
Anne1599968726 Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Nice Very clever too, if they've got proper multi-impact protection. Go for it. Quote

windy Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Nom, if you are going to be doing more cycling than boarding then have a garders at this, http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/cid/BSSIDG1F64C7I0Z4XXGVTHTKB0ZG344N/product-Giro-Giro-Xen-Helmet-Matt-Black-13840.htm It's appears to be a half cycle/half skate lid. There's some good reviews on em knocking about the www, plus i bet you'll be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. ( i just used that site cuz it's got a few decent pics of it. Quote
windy Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Thinking about it, that peak might be a tad long for looking up at kites. Quote
Nomix Posted July 24, 2007 Author Report Posted July 24, 2007 Thinking about it, that peak might be a tad long for looking up at kites. But the peak's not big enough to cover the price ...................... Quote
windy Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 You didn't stipulate a price range, dude. Try Argos. They do a lid for around 6 and a half sheets. Quote
mattnbrown Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 I highly recommend the Giro snowboard series - airboss stock them: http://www.airbossworld.co.uk/Giro%20Helmets.htm (plus they do a music kit which is great fun ) Quote
