playaviation Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Ohh remember those far away days when the board was bigger than ye!? 20 squid, nice one - your pop's bagged a bit of a bargain. My eye lit up at that price thought at least l'd get my money back if it was no good Quote
cwatson Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 bargain mate you'll be up and riding on that in like nooo wind, and when you eventually want to progress on to something a little smaller you'll still have a board that you can get up on when people aren't even bothering to go out Quote

Nathan W Posted May 21, 2007 Author Report Posted May 21, 2007 Thankyou everybody can't wait to get on the water now l love my 9m phantom and the board Still want to know do l need 4 fins or is 2 on the heel side enough to start with thankz Nath Quote
madmarkymark Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 You should be fine with 2 heal side fins, unless you have a bit of experience (wakeboarding etc) and are looking at riding toe side. I was on me heel only for at least a year. Have fun - fly safe - Madmarkymark Quote
keyrb101 Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 with boards of that size they sometimes come with two fins in each corner to help grip this makes the first few times out soo much easier. Quote
Tzwengali Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 You will be fine with 2 fins - as long as they are on the heel side, which I assume they are? In fact it might even be easier, as you will not run risk catching the front toe side fin in choppy water. The toe-side fins are really mainly used when riding toe-side, you might find 2 second-hand fins somewhere to put on your board before you attemp flipping or carving into toeside, but for the time being you are all set - ENJOY!!
