My Dad got this board for me it's a 179TT

was about £20 it has Airush bindings and grab handle few dings but solid only has 2 fins on the heel side Do l need 4 fins?

Will this board be ok for me to get going on the water this summer l'm 13

bargain mate you'll be up and riding on that in like nooo wind, and when you eventually want to progress on to something a little smaller you'll still have a board that you can get up on when people aren't even bothering to go out

Thankyou everybody can't wait to get on the water now l love my 9m phantom and the board

Still want to know do l need 4 fins or is 2 on the heel side enough to start with thankz Nath

You will be fine with 2 fins - as long as they are on the heel side, which I assume they are? In fact it might even be easier, as you will not run risk catching the front toe side fin in choppy water.

 

The toe-side fins are really mainly used when riding toe-side, you might find 2 second-hand fins somewhere to put on your board before you attemp flipping or carving into toeside, but for the time being you are all set - ENJOY!!
