cwignall Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 I have a 4.5 pepper - all round kite (smal jumps, board & buggy engine) looking at a bigger kite - 13m arc type of thing. Just wondered what you would recomend for a fun kite. in other words when you want a break from blasting up and down the beach or fighting against a kite just somat to chill out with - maybe the odd scud. im thinkin like a 2m rage maybe... any thoughts Quote
kite geek Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 2m Imp Jon Yup! I had a go on one at the leicester kiting thing and it was the best 2 line kite id been on since i first got one. Quote
-Olly- Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 2m Imp Jon can't really go wrong with an imp Quote
mikeymustard Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 1.6 jackfoil, they're the Korean meatballs and no mistake. Sadly i think they might no longer be made:( Quote
bigj Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 How about a 4 line stunt kite Revoloution is a great kite and a nice change from being yanked about. cheers John Quote
Pablo Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 I still love the old 2.m Buster, small enough to blast it around the window without getting dragged, spins on a dime. I'd imagine that anything in the 2m quad line range would work fairly well for fun. Quote
Neebie Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 can vouch for 1.4m buster wicked little kite lines r abit shat but lasted alright so far and it only cost me £40 of this here forum Quote
GrolschUK Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 A 1.7/2.4 Sting would do well, great for just throwing around the sky when your other kites want to rip your arms off... Maybe even the 1.2 will fit the bill, but will need more wind to get it moving. Quote
Neebie Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 scrap that justdoin bit o kite maintenance on day off and found two bridle points pulled out in exactactly same place on eitherside.... bugger must be a weak point Quote
Anne1599968726 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 sorry you lot but Radsail 145 Flies in anything from 5mph up to and over 45mph, zips about like a mozzy on acid and makes whizzy farty noises while its doing it Unfortunately mine needs its lines adjusted after snappages oh and they're stackable. cwignall Posted April 23, 2007 Author Report Posted April 23, 2007 Whats the wind range on these kites? Peter Lynn Pepper - 4.5m Flexifoil Rage - 2.5m & 1.8m Thanks Quote
Maro Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Try a 1.5 pepper, cheap as chips, will fly in low'ish winds and will pull a buggy in high winds. Quote
