venom 1 13m in the buggy ?

i need a new buggy kite for the summer winds coming up some people say to me that a venom 1 13m would be good as i want to do a bit of kite surfing with it is ther any one that has a venom 1 13m or has had a go with one in the buggy plz tell me what it was like thanks

Awesome in the buggy, I rode for a year with a 13m V1, at 250lbs though, I needed at least 12-15mph winds before it became fun though. I've since switched back to fixed bridal foils to get more low wind range. 13m Century will get me going in around 5mph quite nicely.

V1 13mtr = a damn good kite for inside the buggy.

 

If you are cruising, I reckon it's easier with a kite on a bar. You can just adjust the depower strap to suit the conditions, and leave the venom at the edge, it'll fly there all day. Hands on the bar are optional ;-)

 

My advice for trimming:

Set the kite so it is almost solely flying off the front lines. The further forward in the window that you can get it, the easier it is to cruise with. If it sits too far back, it will just pull the buggy sideways.

 

Really good for freestyling too, definitely the sweet spot in the venom 1 line up.

yeh i fly a v1 13m with a flexi bug .. so much fun

i don't buggy jump yet but my friend has got some really nice airs with it

it's best to use a climbing harness whilst using the buggy, then get a waist harness for when your on the water
