First Water Kite???

OK guessing i'm going to open a can of worms again, although never really looked through this section on the forum before.

 

2 reasons for heading onto the water.

 

1. G/friends sister just moved to Hythe (nr. camber, greatstone etc...)

2. off to perth (Western Australia) for 3 week holiday

 

been landboarding for 2+ years on fixed bridle and de-power

 

weigh approx. 10.5 stone, 5'6''

 

thinking 9m would be good seem a few options in the for sale section

 

9m Waroo (06) complete

9m fusion (06) kite only

 

i'm off to Oz Friday 16th (week today)

 

or should i hold off and buy a second hand over there as the £/$ conversion is good.

 

any thoughts?
