thegman89 Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I assume your using XP still? Quote
peeter_ Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 erm, i think i right in saying that if you only have the one user it will log on automatically, #if not or if you have the guest account on you will have to click on the user thing, i think that is it and theres no option for logging in automatically if this is the case itll all be done under the usrs in control pannel, my guess is that guest is on, switch that off and i think you should be sorted Quote
Kiteboyza Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 guest account is off.....only my name comes on the list to log on Quote
pierre Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I think you need to reboot it then! it might just be a virus... Quote
KaptainKremmen Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Click Start, Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2, and click Ok. Select the user account from the list (the account to which you want to automatically logon). Uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and click Ok. Type the user account password and complete the process. For Windows XP Home, don't try to auto-login as the built-in Administrator, as you'll receive an error message. From google... I don't use it.
