When i switch my pc on it goes to a blue welcome screen and then I have to click on my user to get it to boot further. Now my other pc, I switch it on and it boots all the way without any user ****. Could somebody oplease tell me how to sort it so I can just hit the power button, make a cuppa and be ready to surf?

erm, i think i right in saying that if you only have the one user it will log on automatically,

#if not or if you have the guest account on you will have to click on the user thing, i think that is it and theres no option for logging in automatically

if this is the case itll all be done under the usrs in control pannel, my guess is that guest is on, switch that off and i think you should be sorted

Click Start, Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2, and click Ok. Select the user account from the list (the account to which you want to automatically logon). Uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and click Ok. Type the user account password and complete the process.

For Windows XP Home, don't try to auto-login as the built-in Administrator, as you'll receive an error message.

From google... I don't use it.
