One of the things that is so attractive about kiting is the community spirit, and even though many of us never knew Charlie a loss like this is felt by us all.

 

My thoughts go out to his family and friends

 

May he now kite in paradise.

Very sorry to hear that bad news. Hard to take in really. My condolences to the family and to all concerned.

 

Perhaps, we will hear more in due course as to what on earth happened here when the coroners court convenes.

I never met the guy, but I've heard he was an awesome bloke. Its terrible to hear of any kiter meeting this fate anywhere, but this close to home it really hits hard.

Thoughts are with his family at this incredibly difficult time

Im so gutted to hear about this! Charlie was a wicked bloke and an awsome flyer both on land and water. Thoughts go out to his family! He Will be greatly missed!

I only met him a couple of times but he was an awesome bloke, and always happy to help.

 

Its terrible to hear such tragic news, even worse when its so close to home.
