hobokiter Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 just got hold of one of these but i can't get it recognised on my crappy pc through the usb anybody know how i can get it sorted as it , it shows up but it say i need drivers for it but the instructions(in the manual says i don't ) HELP!!!!!!! snowey Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I have an Archos AV500. There are options in the System Menu for 'Windows Device' or 'Hard Drive'. I find it easier to use as a Hard Drive so it just shows up as a Drive letter. Otherwise Media Player wants to try and synchronise the device which is just a pain. Hope this helps. Quote
