Psycho2 Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 http://design-extreme.co.uk/img/polished%20Genesis%20Trucks.jpg Thats a pic of my one of a kind DEX trucks. They are entirely made from 7000 series alloy, polished to a high luster (mirror). Pictures dont even come close to how good they look. Each end cap has been drilled to lower weight. The bodies have extra lightning aswell. No worries of corrosion on the inside since they were anodised then select areas stripped, leaving the inside of the bodies and threads protected. And thier not finnished yet. Im testing my hollow stainless axels and they have worked great. My titianium set is going back for the same treatment (hollowing). Every Bolt is made from titanium and like my axels are being machined to be hollow Just wait till you see the rest of the board ... Quote

Morgan Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Where are you getting all tht machine work done on the axles and bolts ? any local machinest should do it. You must have some dosh though those Titanium bolts don't come cheap id say atleast 50-100 for a full setup although you've got alot less bolts then me as it was gonna cost me £150 for all the bolts for mine i don't have the luxury of elipitical trucks. Frakke1599968664 Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 I would say that under normal use, these trucks are unbreakable Oh really ....... give em to me for a session then Seriously though with all this pimping going on is it just for flash coz you're a chav or coz you're crap or will this highly reflective mirror surface be seen flying through the air in some kind of inverted 360 handlepass in the near future,... If not then why bother no one's gonna see them facing to the ground... Oh and I'd like to see them survive "unscathed" after a 35mph session at the HO! coz that sand in that wind will takje the shine off for sure.... frakke:D P.S. next time I'm at the hydro I expect to see it do more than just lie on the ground ... Quote
cwatson Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 And how long are they gonna stay like that....... (I'm not jealous) They look f****** Awesome mate!! another case of pimp my kiteboard but as said before, If your board skills match the blingingness of your trucks then i'll be properly impressed so... GET OUT AND RIDE!!! Quote
