Pilgrim Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 Sounds good Rob, I've forgotten what the sea looks like:( Mable's a no-go for the missus though unless you want to carry her wheelchair over the dunes...might I propose Huttoft Bank? 4 miles South of Mable, car park overlooks the beach, toilets etc...Beach not to Mable standard but it's usually decent and anyway if it's more social than flytime who cares?
Tuffty Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Do any of you lot have any race kite's they'd sell? My butanes, if i can convince the mrs:(
jango Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Do any of you lot have any race kite's they'd sell? Mine are up for sale! The move to Hong Kong is confirmed and I have signed my new contract and also the tenancy agreement for my new apartment! Scary stuff - I move out on the 10th of June, Kate and the girls will follow out at the beginning of August once the school year is over. Just got to empty the house and garage and rent the place out now... piece of cake!

jango Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I was wondering if my transmitter would work... Mind you, I need those to get to work! The only help that I need is a miracle in getting rid of all of my ****, erm, I mean stuff... Cars, kites, furniture, the lot - never really thought about it before, but it's amazing how much stuff one accumulates over the years, yet when it comes to the crunch, there is very little that we actually need .
Mark Rose Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Cheers mate - almost made it as far as you... Yeh. We will be in very different places for sure. I would love to see Hong Kong and plan to travel there on one of our first hols from here. You been to NZ?
jango Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 Now there's a plan... you wouldn't even have to put up with me then
Angry Nugget Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 Hi... new to the forum, and apart from a little recreational flying and scudding with a 3.8m Advance Offroad, I'm looking to invest some more time and money in kite landboarding and buggying. Where in Peterborough is there to buggy? I live in Kettering, and although there are a couple of places I can fly, I'm looking for somewhere with a few more people about to meet, and get tips from.

Angry Nugget Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Will keep an eye out then. Usually head up there with my bro. He's got a Yellow 3.8m Advance Offroad, that I've been trying to get the de-power bar working on (didnt have the original pulleys), and I've just picked up a blue 12m Ozone Frenzy from eBay so we've got something for light wind flying.
