Mr. F Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 1. Give up smoking [again]. 2. Drink a bit less. 3. Find a new job. That should do. Quote
Sand-Yeti Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 To lose weight (not easy as have been trying to for over five years yet I eat sensibly)................... I know the feeling HITS. I really got tough with myself last year & chucked off a lot of weight (20 kgs). I don't eat like I used to before dealing with my eating disorder but have slipped back into some bad habits. I'm not as heavy as I used to be but am still overweight. Next year's resolution is to get tough with myself again . I have to prepare weight charts & check out scales before starting though. Good luck with your resolution & Merry Christmas to you & family. Sand-Yeti Quote

Sand-Yeti Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 To go to Chicago. pop in fer a cuppa on yer way then Chicago is a great city and have spent quite a bit of time in the state of Illinois because of my job. It get's very cold in winter and very sticky in the summer but the people are great fun. Don't remember drinking much tea there though, so you'd better take up on Paul's offer! Sand-Yeti Quote

Jazzy Roy Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 My 2005 resolution was to not make any more "New Year Resolutions" and so far, so good............ That doesn't work does it:confused: If you make a resolution to not make a resolution you've failed 'coz you just made a resolution:confused: the key word here was " more ". To make any more resolutions would be in contradiction to the first statement, but as this was the resolution in the first place, not to make any further resolutions in the future, then the 2005 resolution is good. (Sticks hand to nose with the thumb positioned on the nose and fingers outstretched and waving, saying "ner ner ner ner nerr" ) Quote
