Been kiting about 1yr and snowboarding for 2yrs. Hoping to put the two together now, any tips on the best places to try. Am familiar with all the ski resorts in Scotland. What sort of conditions should I be aiming for?? I live in Perthshire but can travel if anyone was keen to show us the best places.

Cool, we did try up the Cairngorm at the back of Coire an Sneachda, but we only had a PKC 3m. We also saw someone up Glencoe last year in February with a kite/board. Have another kite now - sabre, hoping to try other areas soon, hopefully its going to snow again this weekend!!! Heres hoping:rolleyes:

I've taken my kites with me in the past when Ive been boarding in Scotland but to be honest, what with the weather in scotland being like it is, you shouldnt be looking out for perfect conditions in the mountains for kiting - just decent snow for boarding. Have a board and if you can kite then thats a bonus. My main concern, esp places like cairngorm has been how quickly the weather changes up there. Two guys died recently in Coire an Sneachda, mentioned in this thread, and thats just round the back of the Cairngorm ski area.
