Kiting triathlon

come on whos up for it alot of kiters i know can do all three disiplines. so why not creat a kiting triathlon start of in a buggy race down a strip of land ( did think of a circuit but may be hard with alot of people doing it and keeping track of them all) then jump out onto a land board again down a streach of land over jumps and with a series of rails in the way to grind/ slide. then onto the water for a finally streach up the beach past a finnishing post.

what do you think would you do it

id give that a gow, would you have to use the same kite for all parts? it would make it more interesting.

i think same kite for all parts is right as it would start becomming to difficult if we alloud swaping

 

if we get enough people wanting to do it i cant see why i cant arrange one with the help of some people

now we need to think of beaches where is big enough and lets kiters use the whole beach

yes, but who can say they have never ever crashed a kite into the water whilst kitesurfing?

its the riders choice then do they stick with a foil they know and like or go get a bow sle hybrid or lei or flysurfer

where you thinking stu? aberavon wuld be good, huge beach that can be used in anything but north, east isnt good but we have flown in it, lumpy and gusty but useable.

you dont need insurance but for an event all flyers should have it anyway.

the public tend to stay to one end, ok you get the dog walkers but if you get the lifeguards on side (and i belive the kiters did a fund raiser for the air ambulance earlier this year so this should make it easier)

 

in fact you could make it a fund raiser, have it as part of a whole host of things going on.

this sounds quality now i just got to learn to kitesurf lol got the kite just not quite the skill

got a name, and made a suggestion. lets see what happens, i know they were thinking of doing a fund raiser, this could easily be it or part of it.

would be ideal, i should even be able to get some free advertising too, they brodcast stuff like this on real radio (local radio for south wales well some of it) shame margem kite festival didnt bother would have got more ppl.
