I hate to think numerous Jags, Rovers, Beetles, Land Rovers, but my personal favourite and still sitting in his garage after 25 years of ownership. 1965 and 3rd RHD built.

well my dad has had a few, so....

first i remember when i was wee was MG TC, was the soft top version but in black, as he used it as a taxi as one of his first jobs,

http://www.bentleypublishers.com/images//features/mg.tc.1948.small.jpg

then he butchered that one in a crash, and its still in the garage being repaired a hell of a long time later,

so along came the MG A

this is still in the garage, but is pas it i fear, as was left to rot, but a nice car i think

then came the morris marina, brought back from america when the came,

this one was actually sold off working!!

then my dad gave that to my grandad, and got himself..

the granada

a nice car, and this was left to rot, but was sold on to be restored a couple of years ago now

then came the marina again, as my grandad was unable to drive any more, and mother got the granada to drive us all around in,

then we got a bedford midi, we kept this for a long time as a large family,

then he got an old B reg honda accord,

but cant find a pciture of it,

and now he has a BMW 5 series,

i think youll agree hes been around a bit, but then, i personally think that the MG TC is by far the best, and as soon as there is a gap in the garage, it will be mine to sort out i hope:D

i dont think he agrees, but.....

hope you liked hte rip into the past

After the Viva, we moved to the Escort estate. 1300 i think. RVO529N. didnt like it, but id like one now, such a smooth design, specially on some nice rims.

then it was the mkIV Cortina.

jeez i remember heading down to Spain in the 70's with me dad towing a caravan with one of those suckers.

Then they saw sense (apparently) and bought a VW camper van. Way to many list but generally a good mixture of Mini Vans and Landrovers from what i recall. Now me mum did have a Morris Minor, moved up to a Mk3 Escort (she was a nutcase behind the wheel of that thing)

I had the Grand Finale, 1500 injection, full leather with trim from lotus on it, it was the nuts…… I sold as I needed a 4 seater and wish I had the cash to keep it and have 2 cars……….. That’s one car I miss so much. But you would never get a landboard in one!
