Hi,

Just wondering where the 'larger thighed' riders go for there knee pads etc.

Have a pair of scrub knee pads in large but they a tad tight and the velcro bit that goes round the thigh barely reaches.

I have looked at the 661 pads but again only list a large

where can i find XL?

Help!

Cheers

Personally i think the scrub pads are next to useless, plastic caps on them are too small and can dig in to your legs when you land on them, i use a skate type pad they are big (cover a large area ) highly padded, comfy and will save your knees in any situation. Mine are Harbinger 521k ramp knee pads. I realise they are expensive but if you have a real heavy fall on those tiny scrub things they can do more harm than good, i speak from experience on this.

Have a look at http://www.session1.com

ive got the dj knees, quality.

Yeah me got quite chunky thighs and have the 661 DJ knees and elbows in large. They are dead cumfy and also seem to offer quite a lot of support which great when you stack it big style!

in my opinion - big anarchy knee pads are the best out there. I lost my pair, and bought some expensive 661's, now i wish i had the anarchies back. They were really comfy, totaly protecting, and survived a major beating over the time i used them for kiting and downhilling. plus they had indentations over your kneecaps, which keep them in place all the time.

measured my chunky thighs and the top measurement is gonna have to be 18.5/19" to be able to worn over trousers!!!
