RB Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Just for Mr Phil Landboard as you wanted some pics (no not for sale I love it!) Comment on trampa, its great, a world apart from the likes of a scrub Silver reef 2 or flex deck, against carbon ie D-ex I cannot comment! It only cost me 130 quid in total so I am chuffed with it, had it about a year and no problems!! the hubs are naff but they do the job! get the right ply and you are laffing! Hope you get a new deck sorted soon!!! <a href=http://f10.putfile.com/thumb/7/20514132742.jpg' alt='20514132742.jpg'> Quote
Lip Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 why the kindness!!! thankyou mr red baron but i see no pictures. lol Quote
RB Posted July 25, 2006 Author Report Posted July 25, 2006 why the kindness!!! thank you mr red baron l well heck I am a decent bloke if people take the time to find out! Not @ you Phil but sorry I have to... yea I have sold loads of kites but thats my choice! and the ribbing I am getting, no not a ribbing, an outright slating is getting daft! So I want to say as loud as I can!!! they are my kites, my money, my choice. As for the comments on what I can handle, my weight (which is average for a bloke) most of them based on no information except one session where I went home.... Pathetic & Sad but again others even packed up de-power as it got pretty windy & gusty! and did you see other large blades out, noooo smaller fixed bridals! others even with a good 3+ stone on me packed away a 10m de-power! so yea I have no probs packing away a 6.6 and 8.5 blade!!! So people, Yes I am collecting a Phantom 15 tomorrow so before you comment again on me, my ability, what I can and cannot fly etc based on not knowing me at all ,try and think before you comment pls, this is to the select few who dont even know me! I can take a laugh esp when someone knows me but you dont, there is a fine line between having a laugh and being a tw@t....... I would not mind if I were pulling scams, flying dangerously, ignoring bans, ignoring rules etc etc etc but hey it seems to be a crime now to promote safety, avoid bans, help new flyers and try to get the best for myself... Im Bad! And hey I am having fun so whats the problem? Quote

RB Posted July 25, 2006 Author Report Posted July 25, 2006 SOrry Phil, not you but since I decided to sell the blades I have had some really sad comments etc plus some even sent via PM..... from people I have met once or never, its been bugging me! so not at you........ Its just annoyed me as anyone who knows mw will know I am probably one of the easiest people to get on with... I love a laugh but some people just dont know when to stop as I said fine line between being funny and a complete punt! ANYHOW rant over........ Phil, get a damn Trampa! Quote
Lip Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 i know what you mean when i did the stuff i dshouldn't have, ive had stuff like that to, but sum1 told me the guy doing it, does exactly the same to, hell the guy apparently slept with some guys wife (also on this forum) though she didnt want to, there are some noobs i admit. RB Posted July 25, 2006 Author Report Posted July 25, 2006 WHat like a name and shame for people who try to beat people down with no reason? sounds damn good to me... as a friend of mine who is a head shrink!once said........ people only do it to make themselves feel big, it is they who feel the need to beat on others as they are inadequate themselves, their sad an pathetic lives need the void filling. Take a lookat the few people on here who only post to make a rude or slating comment and never offer advice or help... sound familiar to anyone?? Quote

Again I dont mind a laugh taking the p1ss, but slagging me off and commenting personally about me aint on! your 31 according to the thing under your avatar, im sure u can rise above it by now and if not then well grow up. I think people got anoyed with the constant threads about stuff, comparing this and comparing that, i don't think they'd mind if u had somehting else to ask about. I don't think anyone on this forum can compare multiple kites unless they've flown thm back to back and much like everything its down to personal preference so Phantoms, venoms, sabres, blades there all different and all have there own characteristics. Maybe posting a thread like I've tried the phantom and the sabre im not sure what i like the best this is what i found what are your thoughts. Not Compare these please is Marmite better then vegemite and dose hp really taste like daddys. Back on topic. How are u finding the MBS grab handle i had mine for a little while over a month and ditched it as the rubber cut away and the hand is uncomfortable maybe a bit of foam and duck tape would of done but then again a £2 grab handle from extremkiteshop did the trick too. what trucks u got on there and £130 thats a bargain and a half. morgan. MOrgan with utmost respect, this is exactly what this forum is for, questions, posts and views:confused: and yes a lot of arc flyers will have had a go on Phantoms and Venoms! hence the replies but I got tons of crud in there as well. So once agin this is a forum, if we didnt post it would be so boring! PS the handle is fine so far! I hope it stays that way! Quote

Don't post if u don't want ****, there are a lot of younger members around here and a lot of imature older members. The forum doesn't ahve to be thriving with post to be active, it has other sections for crap like the bar and beach zone. Try using the search function and maybe bundiling your threads together,[being a moderater on a couple forums just make u want to slap ranom pointless thread creatures and idiot posters] Take everything with a pinch of salt and ignore the crap tbh. Isn't there an FAQ on arcs somewhere on another forum ? Morgan. Quote
Themmings Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 RB, Chill, let it go. There's one or two folks on this site with gobs bigger than there ego's - hard to beleive, but true.... If people don't like your posts or post frequency etc - it's simple, they shouldn't respond. Hope you settle with your new gear and enjoy. Quote
