sym170 Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 ive been tempted to go but its not worth the risk, been out in pefectly good days b4 then lightning and wind comes out of nowhere, i mean big wind like 35mph+ sending me along the floor and struggling to pull my safety, plus imgaine what a lightning bolt could do to you! ouch;) ive got 6 weeks to wait for wind, so im in no hurry hehe Quote

Horrible, Gusty wind that would pull literally like a train, about 35+mph. no kiting for me tonite Quote

Just drove back from Leicester in it and the road was 12" deep in the dips of hills. Branches off trees too. Loads of people pulled over just waiting rather than drive in it. Quote

Hopefully it will rian tonight so all the rain's gone for a few day and the ground will be soft, hopefully making it nicer to land some jumps. Quote

LetoII Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Man that was insane, dunno about you guys Zotty and Jelly but by the time you guys had finished with it and it had headed down here it was just one continuous lightening storm with no distinct gap between the lightening and thunder! cooled the place off a bit (though the canal looks a bit fuller now out the front window) but it just dried up dead quick! flexi_dan Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 well, we were watching the farnbrough airshow when it was thunder and fork lightning!! on a huge hill!! it also got REALLY windy eg 35mph in no time atall!! i thort there was guna be a tornado :eek: (it turned out to be the eurofighter.. *see who gets that one then) but seriously it was really scary. lol:o Quote
