luffy m Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Well done Windjammer, that's brilliant! i can't begin to imagine what that must be like... so far i have managed about 5 mph on Beverley westwood! I have been a busy boy these last couple of months and this weekend saw me take delivery of my very first buggy and I am chuffed to bits! That coupled with my kites, insurance and helmet means that I am rearing to go.... I am looking at going to a beach this weekend but unsure where. Either Fraisthorpe or Redcar but not sure which beach will be best for a hopeless newbie trying to learn... any advice gratefully accepted! cheers luffy Quote

I would offer to give you some pointers but I won't be at the beach for a while as I've not been well. But I'm sure there will be lots of the local guys around willing to give you some pointers though Quote
luffy m Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Hey Louise, Thanks for the advice. I don't think I'm going this weekend although did go last weekend. I found it pretty hard going to be honest as the winds were gusting and blowing from an awkward direction. This is of course due to inexperience and I just have to keep plugging away at it. I gave up on last weekend when I did something daft and ended up getting launched off my feet and head first into a huge puddle, fair to say i threw the toys out of the pram...
