What about the skylarks,people and don`t forget the dogs. Some old dude said he was going to phoned the old bill on me just doing a bit of atb cus of ban. You can sill kite up there he said just traction. I have not been up there for ages cus of the ban. Well if you guys are still doning i might have to come a join you.

If its a banned location no matter how safe you are and if you buy the public a five course meal, its still banned. Henry Primett Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 Thats not really the point though is it? olly has a few decent sites near him, where this is our only decent site any where close, this is my local site and is not ollys so if olly comes and messes it up then doesnt really effect him but if we lose this flying site once and for all then i may as well give up flying. abd yea its banned but as ive said we have taken it easy and all is cool.

I think ollie in general should be banned from the countryside

maxlevens Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 what is the deal with banned sites, is there some special law they can call in to legally ban it, or is it just the case of the council saying that you cant kite there, and then some reason for their choice. Is it an arguable thing is really what im asking. I know that on beaches, it is a major issue, due to the high level of kiters int he area, but with just one or two kiters on a site, is a ban a subjective thing?
