ShapeShifter Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 Now that gives me one hell of an idea....Ainsdale horsey people - watch out ! Quote
monkeyinshower Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 What an awesome Idea!!! do you think you'd need a quiver of three horses for different conditions? Or maybe a cow for begginners and work your way up through the animal kingdom, highlights including badgers, monkeys and chaffinches until finally you get to the horse. Quote
gillstah Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 and the impala - high performance jumping machine Quote
keyrb101 Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 the lifeguards on ile d'orleron in france do the same eith a quadbike and skimboard, tres cool. Quote
songalolo1 Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I would have thought it would be the same as being pulled along by a quad bike or 4X4. Use a longer line to get further out into the waves... there are no limits! Quote
Tweak Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 poor horse! true. the line is attached at the wrong point. that will not be confortable for the horse. Quote
rrc62 Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 They use a western saddle here. The tow line goes over the saddle horn. I've seen it done on water, but it is most popular here on snow. It's called ski joring. There are competions all over the country. My sister competes regionally. Me??? I'd rather be tethered to something more predictable and controllable than a 2000 pound animal with a brain the size of a peanut. I'll stick to kiting. Ross Quote
Sparhawk Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Saw this in the paper. The guy reckons it will be the next big thing Helmets? Speeds of up to 40 mph? Any consideration at all for other beach users? Quote
