Well they had to do it, hot on the heels of the SPEED comes another new kite or two in the pipeline, let the speculation begin...

hi,

i have been 2 day's to the need for speed tour (de panne were those pictures are taken is my spot)

The cool (that has to replace the rookie will be released end november) it fly's really well, it has more float than an xtc. I really liked it. But it won't be made in larger sizes than the rookie's. I jumped with it sunday. and did (without the board) a 360 I did it accidently so slow that i trhougt that i would crash if i hadn't enoug hangtime.. THe spin must have lasted for longer than a second. (PS Don't buy a rookie², wait for the new kite)

 

armin was those 2 day's in belgium.

The all yellow kite (with wihite and black stripe) is super stable. Armin gave a nice demonstration off it in the eveing it is a kite that cant overfly, but it really can't. The team riders say it is allot better to kiteloop than the speed (and it loops really tight) I haven't flown that proto but in really light wind it flew really well unhooked (it was truly amazed) It is to replace the xtc. It hase more hangtime, no blow out valves. They have a new technique inside the kite.

 

I have flown the speed 7.0 and jumped without a board 4metres high(they told me it was that high. And constantly over 2metres)

With the board, I jumped (riding to the left and jumpiung isn't as good as to the right) and turned 180°, landed in the water on my back (with a la,ndboard) and crashed the speed. This is what armin saw and not my first 360's that i landed

 

I like the pshycho 2 more on the board than the speed. Because it iss more stable. But if you get used to the speed i should be superb.

These test days have been wonderfull and i really have to thank flysurfer and the people involed(and i hope i haven't said to much)
