JellyFish Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I have just got a blade 3 4.9 and every time i jump with the kite it luff and folds up in the sky. My Blade 2 4m never luff after a jump so why does the blade 3 ? Is it the brake lines that make it luff or is there some thing else i'm doing wrong ? any help would be great Quote
dogger26 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I get this aswell when jumping sometimes, it's all to do with having the kite too far at the top (overshooting) of the window when coming down. Quote
Jules B. Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 not understanding... at what point does the kite luff?? i guess not when you are in the air but just after you land! if thats the case then it is likely that you are not getting it into the right position quick enough and you are landing and catching up with the kite too fast. the same happens with my 10.5 as i am not used to it yet after my 4.9. try and land and move away from the kite as keeping the lines tense is the most important part Quote
angus8ken Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 try redirecting the kite more whilst your in the air Quote
Zotty Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 try redirecting the kite more whilst your in the air like the man says .. the blade III is so much faster than the blade II.. redirect is the way forward Quote
JellyFish Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 Thanks guys Look like a need some practice !!! Oh good i love practicing. Quote
Guest Nevermind Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 When you rediretc you get a more floatier, softer landing and usally more air time, so is well worth it P.S Same for all kites. Craig Quote
