bigmark100 Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 I need to get board (Litewave 169) to somewhere up north. County durham. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this.? Royal mail wont (its bigger than 1.5 meter) - and I dont think the http://www.parceltogo.co.uk will either. (limit is 4 cubic feet - to be honest I dont have a fooking clue how big that is - Im a metric man myself - but it doesnt sound like much). any ideas. it would be nice not to have to wrap the board up either. anyone going up that way from london perhaps? Q-bert Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Here is an idea for you Get a box 1.5 meters long but make it wide enough to fit the board in Diagonally. Quote

akamini Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 I posted a Wizzid 170 with parcelforce - had read about the 1.5m thing but they didnt actually measure it. I just held it against the counter, the guy looked it up and down and said 'Yeah, should be ok". I think it cost about £12. Quote

Johndango Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 yeah took a snowboard to the post office and was able to post it. It was over 1.5m - they didn't seem to mind... someone else there was posting a car wheel (!) so I think they let it go Quote
