Why post such big uncompressed videos on the web.... almost 2500bps (DVD - quality)

Great video but would play the same quality image at less than 1000bps

Could have had twice as much action video

 

Viewing the video as it is on my PC it plays like a slide show....

the annoying thing about most kiting videos is that they use WMV . mirosoft made a cack port of windows media player for mac but it plays videos like this really slow .

I believe there is a plugin for Mac and mpeg/mov based applications, namely quicktime, i-movie, etc, which allows these programs to play wmv's without the need for the shoddy excuse for media player on mac I don't recall where I got it from, do a google search, lol. It also allows you to export videos as wma's, why someone would want to do that I havn't a clue

The best compression format at the moment is XviD, its stable, completely free to en/decode and file sizes are samller tthan DivX, DivX have released a new version of there codec but its not very well supported yet, wmv is craap and this video is too big, it should have been compressed 1st. simarillo.tk shows you examples of compression ive used to put together a funny video, Indeo compression is over 200MB for 640x480 while Xvid 640x480 if under 40MB.

 

I cant comment on the video yet as its still downloading but if its anythink like this then its good.

 

-edit, just seen its, and its ok, some nice jumps at the start, but it does need more action and a smaller file size.
