pebble Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 I'm thinking of getting a strong buggy capable of handling wide tyres. So I'm trying to work out the differences between the Libre Truck and Supertruck buggies. Here's what I currently understand: a) Both the Truck and the Supertruck are available with either BigFoots or BigFoot Lites. b) Both the Truck and the Supertruck can have slick or knobbly tyres. c) Both the Truck and the SuperTruck have a 135cm rear axle. d) The Truck is based on the Libre V-MAX frame with the Libre V-MAX seat. e) The Supertruck is based on the Libre Full Race frame with the Full Race seat. However, it does not have the camber or track adjustment. They seem pretty similar to me. What are the real differences between the Truck frame and the SuperTruck frame seeing that they both have the same axle width, and neither has camber/track adjustment? Is the Full Race seat much more comfy than the V-MAX seat? Are there any other reasons why someone should spend the extra cash on a SuperTruck? thanks jon Quote
craig.w1599968638 Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 think you got it pretty close there super truck has the swan neck down tube and camber adjusters as it a full race really. you can have a choice of axel widths for a small extra charge upto 155 also one other you should consider is the "Hardcore Truck" & "Hardcore Super truck" that is based on the new hardcore buggy and has all the same as above.... it has a choice of sizes to buy it in....you choose the width side rails you want Large, medium, small & super small then choose your seat size of small medium large...you get the perfect fot that way the fullrace / hardcore seat is bigger/deaper than the V-maxx plus as i said above you can choose size i think it works out a bit cheaper to buy a truck than guy a standard one and get all the bits later Quote
gandhi Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 supertruck does not have caber adjusters. well mine didn't anyway. It was bloomin fantastic and very comfy. Just abit of a blighter to transport. And the knobbly tyres make a brilliant noise when you're motorin!!!! (and they're also good for severing peoples lines if they annoy you!!!!) Quote
Snake Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 if your thinking of b/f buggy take a look at the barracuda stonking piece of kit shouldn't work out much more than a truck, stailess steel as well so well worth the extra ££££££££££££s had a truck, nice buggy but the cuda will put it to shame on all points Quote
