AIRCOOLED 72 Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 im waiting for the spring to come till i get out there and try my board im just wondering if any of the instructional films are worth getting if so which one would be best???? or do you just need to get out there and do it? Quote
keeno Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 Hi M8 When i was learning my instructor was kind enough to lend me his Boost DVD. I found this to be a useful addition to the learning process. I found that at times it was information overload while on the beach, its nice to be able to go over things in the confort of your own living room. I came from a buggying backround (only 2 months) and found the whole transition to kiteboarding a very slow one, no balance and not really enough kite skills were working against me, and at one point i nearly gave up. But, as many people on here will say, there is a point you cross and it all just clicks. My advice is to get proper lessons from an approved instructor and combine both watching some DVD's and getting out there and doing it. DVD's ive seen and recommend: BOOST 1 & 2 Kitesurfing DVD AC Extreme Kiteboarding DVD Quote
