PL Folding is good enough so long as you dont intend to give it any hammer and you need a folding buggy for transportation purposes. Im no expert, but you will break it with freestyle.

Gotta reply to this. Had one for 12 mths, sold it to a mate. He had it for about the same. Now another mate has got it. its never bent, broke or come apart. It dont rattle or owt. BUT. By God speeds of over 30 mph are awe inspiring. Fillings fall out & Vision blurs. If you have transport probs or fly on small sites there isnt anything IMHO better. Mine spent a lot of time on 2 wheels and a lot more on no wheels being crashed trying freestyle tricks. 3 owners , nearly as new. Great.

I've not had my pl folding long, and only really got it because because of the lack of space in my car. Not had much chance to use it, but so far have been very impressed. exceeded expectations and certainly alot more stable and solid than i had expected. The only advice with it is too make sure the seat straps connecting the buggy to the frame are nice and tight before you start as this helpd holds it together.

unfortunately have broken my collar bone on the kite last week... not in the buggy at the time mind  so it will be a few weeks before i can get back in the saddle.

hey blokes

i have a folder too. i had mine for about 5 years now. i only use it

a few times a years when i go to buggy events by plane.

its an all right buggy. i never had any problems with it. welds, bending etc.

i weigh 175lbs. i did have to replace the seat once as i hit bottom with it

few times. the fastest i had mine up to was 48mph at sbbb a few years ago.

i think thats some kind of record. my friends say i`m nuts to run it that fast.

if space is a problem and you weigh less than 200lbs. get it.

i had a freind of mine who weighs about 280lbs use one. it never broke

on him but you could see the buggy straining to hold the weight.

i started off with a folder and still think it was pretty good at what it was designed/bought for.

it lived in the boot of my car and never caused me any trouble, its an idea to get an extra strap to keep the two side bars tight together where they hook into the L shaped bits as this keeps the rattling to a minimum.

Erm unfold it?

Really glad to see this as I just got a folder, with a broken rear hub, I have re welded it and strengthened both sides, Pics to follow...

As for the two side bits coming apart and using an extra stap to hold it togther I didn't like the idea so drilled two small holes and will put P clips through it.

Anyone else modified theirs at all if so how and why?
