I was just looking for peoples opinions on this situation. I got a Pro-Limit harness for christmas and i fell on the 27th and the abulance dudes had to cut it off. They cut one bit of webbing and a small elastic bit. Do you think i could get it repaired or do i have to fork out on a whole new one? Also where would i get it repaired?

If its not obvious it can be repired ie easy to sew replacement parts back on I suspect it aint do-able.

Harnesses are effetively safety devices (like climbing harneses)and as such are made with one thing in mind not breaking while in use. The construction will have been in many layers, its almost certain that the parts you need to replace can no longer be reached.

Unforunately I suspect it a new harness (and if it was me it would be)

Hope the injuries were not too serious

...and if you do go with the repair option then go with the manufacturers, it'll be safest and probably cheapest.

If you were American you could always sue the ambulance crew for the damage they caused, along with the the individual manufacturers of all your kit for not warning you to specifically avoid St Andrews on that particular day.....
