The Geoff Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 OK, I'm sure we've heard of a backside 360, but how about my new move, the "arse 360" ? I did it by accident, but I've since done it intentionally. 1: Get some speed up, 15-20mph is good. 2: Slowly fall over backwards 3: Whilst sliding on your arse lift the board off the ground and spin 360 on your bum 4: Put the board back down, dip the kite into the power zone and pop back up. It's all done on the move. Crash shorts or a harness with plenty of padding is recommended. Don't do this anywhere that has nasty spiky things lying around! Quote
Tone Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Rob evans aka trebor snave has me doing this at the xzone games *proud* Quote

Tempest_Riders Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 I hope this isn't the direction the sport is going in. It just seems like it would push the sport in a more extreme direction than I want to go...especially when I would have to worry about a forced enema by "spikey things" Quote
The Geoff Posted November 17, 2004 Author Report Posted November 17, 2004 Groundwork is the way forward! Like that pic in the latest PK of a guy doing a one footer with all four wheels on the ground. I've already got the groundbased kiteloop nailed! Quote
rjw Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 I mastered the shoulder 180 to arse this summer. achieved by wiping out, usually in soft sand, and getting dragged down the beach headfirst on your back. turn the kite through the middle of the power zone and dip one shoulder hard into the beach, you should flip around onto your back, haul in the bar and stand up. during contests .1 extra is given for every holiday maker who exclaims OOhhhhhh in a loud voice. trebor Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Rob, is this move the same as the crabtree arse spin? PMSLOL! Almost dude - you gotta make it the whole way round for a spin Quote
trebor Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 strap a tea tray to ya shorts and you could aim for a 540 to reverted arse scud spin handlepass to inverted board off..... Quote
rjw Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 the other good feature of it is the huge furrow it makes down the beach, which always looks impressive. would definately have to be 180 or 540, 360 would still leave you in a crock of poo heading toward a sea wall or such like head first on your back at speed. Woody1599968629 Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 PMSL I would try and encorporated this to my Trademark move but I'm not sure the Moon-Air would convert without ALOT of pain!! Quote
