Plane pour moi Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 well as said above you're wallet is in trouble... I was thinking the other day how this sport is a lot like drug dealing. You start with a small kite almost "given" by your dealer because he knows you are going to come back and will spend huge amount of dosh to feed your growing addiction... who wants to create the KA (Kiters Anonymous)! Good luck Bigal! Quote

Our 'dealer' knows that all he has to do is feed us with the next biggest, hardest hit and we'll all be there gagging for it! Phantoms for example...... Quote

stueyboy Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 PS. If you think this is addictive/expensive/lifetakingover/marriagewrecking don't even think about trying kitesurfing ..So is it a bad idea that the wife and I have just bought our first kitesurfing kite and board then? No need to answer that Quote
Steve1599968621 Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 ..So is it a bad idea that the wife and I have just bought our first kitesurfing kite and board then? No need to answer that No! Doing it together would be fine, it's when you leave her behind so you can go off - that's when the trouble kicks in. (You might need to buy another kite and board though cos you'll only argue!) Quote
