Hi there, I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction. Since taking up the sport I have became quite addicted and would love the opportunity to make it my living. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could become a kite instructor.

Many thanks, Yello

Get in touch with Neil Godbold IKO national trainer at Paracademy. He has just qualified 6 of us as power kite instructors, its a 2 day course with an emphasis on safety and weather knowledge. Very worthwile.

Also we are doing a vast amount of sessions with local shops, schools and clubs doing just basic power kite sessions and nothing else.

Hope this helps

You won't make much money as an instructor, and you never get to fly yourself when the conditions are right.( I am speaking from experience) Good course to go ion (PKSF/BBC) two days, good fun, meet people etc. Contact Adam at Turbulence.
