Chino Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 Interested to know a couple of things from those that have fitted speedo's: 1. How did you set the wheel size in the speedo (& what size in mm did you input)? 2. What max speed have you recorded? neilj37 1 Quote
Vespa1599968601 Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 I have a Cateye speedo and you can alter the wheel circumference to as little as ten millimetres. My Furnace Creek has 9 inch wheels which I think comes out to 718mm. The fastest I have gone is 22.9mph - not as fast as somepeople I'm sure but fast enough for me at the moment - especially becasue that was when I fell off. Quote

Agger Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 Fitted a cateye cordless 7 to my noSno and I have clocked 14 mph cruising, as thats what I do when i can be bothered to take me board but it has been up to 32 mph with a very good talented young rider on it, took the board a week of therapy after that to get back to normal. The wheel size is easy to measuer and easy to set on the Cateye, in fact you cah get some speedos that fir roller skate wheels so finding one should'nt be a problem. ;) Interested to know a couple of things from those that have fitted speedo's: 1.
