noelpilot83 Posted June 30, 2004 Report Posted June 30, 2004 Ok I have finally decided to bite the bullet and get a board! Thanks to all those selling boards who I have had help off over the last few weeks. I'm looking for a suitable board to take my 13stone weight, be used mostly on the beach and be ok for me to progress on, not overly fussed about anything else. Price - My budget is £100 and I don't mind whether its second hand or brand new. Go on everyone do your stuff and flood me with the best help available!! Thank you in advance! Quote
Trants19 Posted July 1, 2004 Report Posted July 1, 2004 You might be able to get a kheo air-s second hand for that price. I just got mine new due to numerous recomendations as a cheap/budget beginners board, and i recomend fully! Quote

Adrena1in Posted July 2, 2004 Report Posted July 2, 2004 ... kheo air-s ... cheap/budget beginners boardI bought a new Kheo Air-S and wouldn't call it a cheap or budget board. I know it's not as expensive as the top stuff, (mine was £200), but that's twice as much as a cheap board I'd say. You're right in saying they're good boards though. I started on a £100 Exit Bomber, which was okay, but I didn't really get on that well with it. The Air-S is a dream to ride, and though I still call myself a beginner, I feel very confident on the Air-S. Feels stable at speed, and is nice and light for getting Air. The only downside is that the pivot cups only lasted a total of perhaps 3 hours use. Maybe I got them salty and didn't clean the board properly, and the salt deteriorated the cups. If you can get a second hand Air-S for around £100 Noel, you won't be disappointed I think. Quote
commander Posted July 2, 2004 Report Posted July 2, 2004 how about a cheap £30 exit bomber from index then you might be able to but you better ask if you would be able to fit it with a air s deck only £50 from castguard kites then some better bindings say £20ish and there ya go decent board for £100 plus an extra deck ? would this work????? Wolf359 Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 I just bought a Scrub Furnace Creek from these guys and saved myself £23 on the retail. I also got it the next day. http://html.marionvillemodels.com/kites/buggies-and-boards/category.aspx Has to be worth a look. Quote
JHT4 Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 I have a Kheo Flyer for sale at £100.00 if you are interested. It's hardly been used and is in great condition. I bought a buggy about a month after i got it and it's not seen the light of day since! Let me know if you are interested. JHT4 Quote
justin1599968620 Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 you just can't go wrong with a Scrubs Silver Reef. I know loads of guy's for whom this was their first board (heavy and light) and everyone loved it, me included. It's a fairly heavy board in terms of jumping but for speed and stability unrivalled. justin Quote
