.Joel Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 Hi All, Some of us like too strap in, some of us don't. I have designed a fully adjustable Lap Belt with quick release. These are ideal as you can quickly adjust them for different riders, and you can get in and out easily. If you are interested in a Lap Belt please let me know. They are fully adjustable so can be used in all Peter Lynn and Flexifoil buggies. They can also be used in some Libre buggies. All lapbelts include... Industrial Strength Velcro Stainless Steel Buckle Stainless Steel D Ring Stainless Steel Quick Release Price: $55 Including Postage. This is the complete kit including the quick release that slips onto your siderail. I have been using my lapbelt for buggy jumping over the past 8 months and it has held up very very well. If you are interested in one please post here or fire me a PM. I have limited sets and only do these on the odd occasion. Photos: Limitation of Liability Notice Please note, strapping yourself into a buggy can be very very dangerous. I assume no responsibility to any injuries or accidents sustained by use of these lap belts. These lap belts are not designed too be used in buggies, they are not designed to be used for any practical purpose. They are purely ornamental objects that you buy and hang on your wall for good luck. Regards, .Joel Quote

.Joel Posted August 9, 2007 Author Report Posted August 9, 2007 Hi guys, I have 10 being done, and 7 are gone so 3 left. If anyone is still interested in one pop your hand up now or forever hold your peace The main strap is all done for each set. The only reason on the hold is that I need to get the other end with the quick release done order by order to suit which buggy it is going on. Last chance until I do them again some time later. Regards, .Joel Quote

Some of you may have yours arrive before Friday. Otherwise the left over orders i'll get out early next week. Regards, .Joel Quote
techno Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 have the lapstraps been posted yet? Quote
.Joel Posted September 8, 2007 Author Report Posted September 8, 2007 Not yet, still waiting to get the Libre ones back so I can post them all out. All the PL and Flexi ones are done sitting on my floor. Regards, .Joel Quote
Peter Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 can you make one to fit both a Libre and PL buggy, both with side rail padding???? Quote
.Joel Posted September 12, 2007 Author Report Posted September 12, 2007 If they have siderail padding it should be fine. If not it will slip around like hell on the PL. I'll have some photos up over the weekend as I spent tonight finishing off a few trimmings and cleaning up the ones I have here. Picked up more stainless bits so hopefully if Terry (not sinbad) has time on Saturday or Sunday he can finish sewing the rest up for me. I'll have a few leftovers as I couldn't wait any longer for bits (been waiting two weeks) so I ordered a box of 25 quick releases from a place in WA. So you can probably expect a nice for sale post with quick releases later on if i end up with too many sitting around. I have been using an Auto Marine trimmer to sew it all up, as their thread doesn't rot when it hits salt water, and he knows how to sew them so they don't come undone. First person I tried said yes etc, three weeks after using it the thread started to fail because it was cotton, not polyester. Learnt the hard way as the buggy ended up tearing off me mid jump. Anyway, i'll throw you some photos over the weekend of how i designed the attachment to the Libre buggies. Regards, .Joel Quote

I'll take a couple of photos close up of my own one, so you can see how to mount it on each side as a few people that received theirs have already asked and it's a bit of a pain to try and explain.
