sulpeel Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Took the MBS to Priory Farm for the first day of the season with the L.A.R.D. ASS lot last weekend for some downhill goodness. I boarded for most of the day and had a lot of impressive stacks including trying to jump off of the berm at the end of the orchard run and landing right on my bum. Oh well. I was wearing some of the aforementioned Hillbilly Shorts (from powerkiteshop.com) and they did a grand job. They have a solid plastic sheet over a foam insert to protect your coccyx as well as thigh and hip foam padding. So no bruising after a day of heavy use, hurrah for bullet-proof shorts! They don't restrict movement much at all and don’t make you feel like you are wearing a nappy so should be just the job for kite based sports. Good Luck - Pete Quote
Tricky.C Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I got dumped on the coccyx, by my Bullet, just before xmas, and couldn't sit down for three weeks! I got some scrub padded shorts from powerkiteshop.com - The bullet has dumped me on the arse a few times since and I am still sitting down ok, so I guess they must work.
