sprogg Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Bit far off but the Isle of Lewis is better for surfing and wind. Less tourists than Cornwall. I am biased as I hev just bought a B & B there. Loads of top beaches and waves etc. Quote
kiteingcolin Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 well you could of asked me, i know this area quite well, daymar bay is bloody brill, hard to find but well worth the search, costs a few quid to park but its great for the kids as it safe, no traffic, and the bay develops this small 2 ft rolling wave that swings in from the estuary mouth, and you can get great big rollers in the middle.ive got the good beaches in that area marked down on my map they are quite far apart, but sometimes worth the drive, see you soon:D Quote
BonzaOzzy Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Sprogg, if you are have a B&B there you would be the perfect person to post some info on your beaches on the www.Kitebeaches.com website. I live up in aberdeen and always looking for somewhere to go, might be good for a change!! Think about it Cheers! Quote
