Ally Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 ok, summer was here today so thought it was time to get the trampoline up. Am bouncing away(cue rainbow jokes) when an idea hit me. has anyone else tried taking the trucks off their board and taking it trampoline ward to practise board offs(very fast) etc. and just mess around or is this more than a little stupid? yours in stupidity Ally Quote
Lil Dick Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Sounds like an idea only 1 thing u couldn't really do board offs seeing as u don't have a long amount of time maybes spins. Quote

king_of_the_sky Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 one thing sont u r foot strap bolts stuck out a bit underneath (did on my old board) bouncy bouncy tear ohh crap i broke me leg! Quote

Ally Posted April 25, 2004 Author Report Posted April 25, 2004 not much, not nearly enough to catch on the trampoline. will put several layers of tape over them non the less. and will be careful:eek: Quote

Its basically a board strung between 2 ropes on a swing but he's spent a year or more on the prototype (it was patented in 2000) Any use? Probably not but anyway:D KET Quote
darrengray Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 any takers on a backloop attemt on the 'G-Board' i pay to see it tried Quote
king_of_the_sky Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 lol id try it as long as there were crash mats all around Quote
pong Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 hang a bar out of a tree and use that works for handle passes and spins and stuff might be cool to put the trampline underneath so you can get more hight? Quote
AliB Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 can u handle pass on the bar on ure tree. its really hard Quote
Ally Posted April 26, 2004 Author Report Posted April 26, 2004 he's spent a year or more on the prototype really? its just a longer swing. whats he been doing with his time? Quote
SkintMonkey Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 Not really applicable....but the last time i was on a trampoline i broke my nose by nkneeing myself in the face. It was ok...alot of blood, scared my parents. shame that it was on christmas day just before dinner.... i had to eat outside with the dogs for all the blood:o Quote
misterlizard Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 Yeah man, some snowboarders to this for training for jumps (moving with the board in the air). Wicked fun, but that's partly because I just love trampolines! Gotta get me one of those Quote
needakite mike Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 you could put the trampoline next to a tree attacach rope to the tree get a mate to push you off the trampoline on your boad with the wheels n sh#t on then swing roun the tree back onto the trampoline Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 has anyone else tried taking the trucks off their board and taking it trampoline ward to practise board offs(very fast) etc. and just mess around or is this more than a little stupid? Quite a few boarders use trampolines to work on balance and timing for airbourne tricks. I don't see why you shouldn't give it a go! Quote
Phatdan Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 what about a peice of bungy attached to your bar hangin from a tree that would simulate a jump surely Quote
