WannabeKiter Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Which board do you think is better for kiteboarding - Kheo Air-S or Flexi Flexdeck/Airdeck? I've never tried kiteboarding but I do loads of other boardsports and I'm experienced at flying... And if you wanna suggest any boards other than these three, please do - but I don't have loads of money Cheers WK Quote

Chomfoil Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 yea there was alot of power (world be great for boarding) but mainly traction but there was a bit of lift when i worked it a bit. I was surprised at how stable it was. Quote

People have been saying Halfords but couldn't find them on the site... Help!! there will be some halfords that dont sell it anymore because there dont buy them from the supplier anymore (I think coz it was not selling very well) thats why they've gone down to 75 from 100. the camo hasnt been on the halfords web site for a while now but i'm sure you could still get one from one of the stores. hope that helped Chom:cool: p.s. you can only get the camo from halfords or get it second hand, but if you cant find one the Exit spirit is the same board with different graphics. WannabeKiter Posted April 1, 2004 Author Report Posted April 1, 2004 Cheers chom but the Spirit is over 140 quid... By the way with all this Camo stuff no one has told me which is better, the Air-S, Flexdeck or Airdeck!! WK Quote
rasga Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Right Airdeck, shorter grab handle Flexdeck, nice all round Air-s good allrounder, can be used downhill (the flexifoil ones cant, they are kite specifiic boards) Quote

chrkelly Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 As you do other boardsports I'd stay clear of the flexi boards as they're impossible to do downhilling when there's no no wind. The air-s is a great pretty light board although the trucks don't take much abuse. For kiting I'd recommend the MBS Core 16. It's a bit more expensive at £230 but the matrix trucks are fully adjustable so it makes a brilliant downhill board aswell and it only weighs 6.9Kgs. Check out http://www.mbs.com. The biohazard carbon pro is also worth a look. Quote
Flexifan Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 well i think some people will argue with you about the flexi's being downhillable. I've not got one so wouldn't know. But why not buy my Kheo Flyer. £135 inc postage. Like new with one scratch on bottom that looks part of the pattern. If ur intrested i can get some photos taken. Quote
Chomfoil Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 well i think some people will argue with you about the flexi's being downhillable. Downhillable? oh I think I know what you mean, the downhillability factor of my camo is high:D Quote
Flexifan Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 fair enuff, just saying that apprently it's still possible. and my flyer is nice and downhillable too Quote
